Range Redesign Information
As requested during our monthly meeting, the signed lease agreement between ERML and Escambia County has been posted to the Club Documents page under the ABOUT US menu. Additionally, Mike Roberts, president of the ERML Sportsmen's Foundation (ERML's education branch) presents a "state of the range" summary talking about past and future efforts with the county and range re-design. This can be found by clicking here as well as on the Club Documents page.

ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS!
Effective January 1, 2010, all New and Renewing members will be required to take the range orientation/safety briefing before receiving their validated Membership Cards. This is a requirement imposed by the county as part of our new Management Agreement. Membership applications will be processed as before, but Membership cards will be hand delivered to the on-site Range Manager for pick up after completion of the orientation. At the same time, a copy of the Range Rules will be given to the Members. ERML bumper sticker/decals also will be available. Our full-time Range Manager/Safety Officer will conduct orientation at his convenience throughout the day. Allow 20 to 30 minutes. The last orientation will begin no later than one hour prior to range closing time.

CCW Application in Fort Walton Beach
You can apply for your CCW directly from the Fort Walton Regional Office of the Dept of Agriculture. Call 850-833-9146 for an appointment.  The address is 212 Eglin Pkwy SE, Suite A, Fort Walton Beach, FL. You must bring a photo I.D., and one of the following:
1) a copy of gun safety course certificate; or
2) copy of current military I.D.; or
3) copy of DD-214.
The office will process the fingerprints and photograph.  The application will be done online in the office during the appointment. From what we've heard, the turnaround for getting your CCW this way is significantly faster than mailing the application.

Construction Materials Needed!
We're getting pretty close to construction on the new range design. To support this, if you have some useful construction supplies, or know of a source to get materials for free or reduced cost, contact our range manager -- Manny Addleman (his contact info is under the ABOUT US --> BOARD OF DIRECTIONS menu). Thanks in advance!
