MILITARY RIFLE MATCH AND SIDE MATCH - January 29th, 2012 :
Any Rifle, Iron or Peep Sights or Any Scoped Rifle (NO RIMFIRES)
Ladies and Gentlemen dust off those old and new military rifles and clones for our January 29th match.
Categories are as follows:
   Centennial Single Shot - trap doors, rolling blocks, etc...
   Pre WWII - 03 Springfield’s, Swede M96's, Mosins, K-31's, etc...
   WWII to Korea - M1 Garand’s, M1 Carbines, etc...
   Korea to Viet Nam - SKS types, AK's M-16's, etc...
   Post Viet Nam - AR-15's etc...
   Ladies Class Sub-Juniors and Juniors - also remember we will be having (2) junior categories now, we will have Sub-Juniors ages up to 12 years and Juniors 13 years to 18 years. They will be allowed to shoot any type of .22 caliber rifle, scoped, iron sights, peep sights or if they prefer they may shoot a military rifle.
Side Match – ($5.00) Any match or non match rifle with either open or peep sights or scoped rifle; (NO RIMFIRES) rifles can be bolt, auto or pump. Targets will be provided for this match. Course of fire will be 20 shots @ 100 yards off hand, no slings will be allowed. We will use the TQ-4 NRA small bore target. The cost is $10.00 entry fee for first rifle in one of the classes, e.g. Pre WWII, WWII to Korea, etc. Should you want to shoot that one rifle, it would be $10.00; each additional rifle in a class that you want to shoot is $2.50. For another rifle in another class, it would be $5.00, (and again, $2.50 for another rifle in that class). Also, we shoot relays of 20 shots per rifle....5 from the bench, then 5 standing off-hand at 50 yards, then 5 shots from the bench and 5 shots offhand at 100 yards. Targets will be NRA TQ4 small bore as we always shoot. We shoot the relays in order of the sign ups by the folks doing first come first serve. Earlier you are better choice of which table you want and which relay you want to sign up for. Sign up starts @ 0800 and the safety briefing/instructions are @ 0900. See you there; rain, sleet or snow. Remember the men how they suffered at the Battle of the Bulge, we can suffer a couple of hours.

Gun Goddesses Ladies Shoot - February 11th
The first Gun Goddesses ladies match of 2012 will be held February 11th.  Sign in between 8:00 and 8:45am.  9:00am safety briefing.  9:30am shoot begins.  Cost is $10 for ERML members and $15 for non-members.  Click here for details.

We will have a side-match "just for fun" so bring your $1 bills to play.

ERML Dues Increase
At the December meeting, the ERML board of directors made the difficult decision to increase range membership dues from $95 to $120 effective January 1st.  Currently the range is running at nearly an $1800 per month deficit and a moderate dues increase will help to mitigate the income/expense issues we are currently experiencing.

As you renew your membership beginning in January, please submit $120 for your dues.

ERML Election 2012
Members, elections for the 2012-2013 Board of Directors will be next April.  An election committee has just been formed.  If you wish to run for any of the board positions, please send an email with your contact info and what position you wish to run for to the following people:

Black Powder Cartridge Rifle Matches Resuming
Since the bi-monthly shoot would have been Dec 25th, we will make the next match Jan 22, 2012, and then March 25th, barring any future changes.
