The cost is $95.00 per year (effective 1 January 2009) for a family membership (which includes spouse and/or children under age of 18 years, living in the same household).

They can provide you with a membership form, a copy of the range rules, and answer any questions you might have regarding ERML. You can also pay for your membership at the stores.  Note that NEW members will still need to attend range orientation before receiving your official membership card.

Range Orientation

As of November 2008, new members do not gain shooting privileges at the range until they have completed range orientation. Orientation is held throughout the day at the Range Safety Officer's convenience (i.e. if he's busy checking people in or handling other range issues, orientation needs to wait until he's free). The last orientation will begin no later than one hour prior to range closing time. The goal of orientation is to ensure new members fully understand the range rules, are familiar with the range facilities, and have any questions answered by a range official. At orientation, your temporary membership card will be validated, granting you your shooting privileges. Your official membership card will be mailed to you shortly after you complete orientation.

At present, renewing members do not need to attend an range orientation briefing.  However, effective 1 January 2010, ALL renewing members will need to take the orientation.  This is a county requirement.  The plan will be to issue membership cards after processing the renewal application, but leave them with the Range Manager.  Members can pick up their new cards after completion of the range operation orientation.

How to earn a free annual membership:

1.  By participating in a minimum of 3 range workdays during the past twelve (12) month period (meaning your membership period).  This includes volunteering to work during events such as CCW training, the Annual Glock Shoot, etc.  Work day participation information will be collected by the Range Manager, and event participation information will be provided to the Range Manager by the event organizer(s).  The Range Manager will forward this information on to the Membership Secretary for inclusion in the database.

2. Serving on the Board of Directors. BOD members don’t have to pay annual dues during their yearly tenure as a BOD member. They will still be required to complete a renewal of membership application each year at their renewal time, and forward it to the Membership Secretary.
